December 10th 2012 (Chanukah) - Pottery Making
A special pottery making event was held for ladies during
Chanukah. The event was run by Chava Rosenzwieg and over 25
ladies attended. Everyone had an opportunity to have a go and all
who attended had a great time. Watch this space for next year's
programme!
  
June 25th 2012 - Challah Making
A demonstration of Challah making will be held at 8.30 pm on the 25th
June in the Shul Reception room by Mrs Singer and Shevy. All
ladies and teenage girls are welcome to attend and you have the
opportunity to make your own personal Challah! More details from
the Shul office.
June 12th 2012 - AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Shul took take place on June 12th
2012 at 8.30pm. 33 members attended. The Executive now
comprises of M Rappaport (Chairman), A Isaacs (Vice Chairman), H Kaye
(Hon Sec), I Joseph (Warden). M Rappaport is also acting
Treasurer. The Board of Management remains unchanged.
June 2nd 2012 - Mayoral Visit
On Shabbos 2nd June 2012 over the weekend of the Jubilee, the Shul was
delighted to welcome the new Mayor of Bury, Councillor Joan Grimshaw
accompanied by her Consort. In addition other distinguished guests
were present. Madam Mayor addressed the congregation at the Kiddush
after the service.May 2012 - Lag B'Omer Barbeque
On
Lag B'Omer a very successful barbeque was held at the home of Brian and
Barbara Price. Below are just a few pictures of some of our
